This trio shows off their ballon animals sculptures during the Children’s Carnival, held Wednesday, Agu. 21 at the Powwow grounds in Usk. The Kalispel Tribe sponsored event was to raise awareness about the opioid crisis while providing a fun and engaging day for children and families in the community. Event organizer Hollie Axel said the event was designed to bring the community together and educate people about the dangers of opioid abuse.
