Our address is the Pend Oreille River Valley because that is the focus of the news and information on this site. We cover Pend Oreille County, Washington and West Bonner County, Idaho. We offer many things on this site not in our print publications such as archives, a business directory with advertising information and hot news of the hour.

This site includes all the stories in the print editions, updated each Wednesday. Many of the links, such as those for the classifieds and business directory, are free to use. To offset the cost of maintaining this site, those people wishing to view more of the news and information must become a paid subscriber or pay to view for a single week.

All our subscribers receive a password so they can have the advantages of the online edition as well as the print each week. Our snow birds love this opportunity to stay informed, as do our out-of-town readers.
