WBCSD car raffle tickets available

PRIEST RIVER – This year’s West Bonner County School District’s Athletics Car Raffle is underway. People can buy tickets at the district office in Priest River for a chance to win a 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Premium, the district announced. Tickets are $10 each and there is no limit on how many you can buy.

Funds raised go to support activities at Priest River Lamanna High School. The drawing will occur on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2025, at Timberlake High School, during the boys varsity basketball match held at 7 p.m. The winner will be contacted and does not need to be present to win.

The car was donated by Parker Subaru.

Blanchard candidate meet and greet Sept. 20

BLANCHARD – There will be a meet and greet held for Idaho candidates Friday, Sept. 20, at 6 p.m. at the Blanchard Community Center, 605 Rusho Lane.

Candidates include Steve Johnson, who is running for Bonner County commissioner; Kathryn Larson, who is running for the state House of Representatives, Seat 1B; Karen Matthee, who is also running for the House, Seat 1A; Loree Peery, who is running for the House for the Idaho House for Legislative District 2, seeking seat 2A and Tom Hearn, who is running for state senate from Legislative District 2.

Refreshments will be served.
