Dispatch also fields calls for the Kalispel Tribe’s property in Airway Heights. Certain police calls are generally omitted because of space constraints. These include, but aren’t limited to ambulance calls for illness, unfounded alarms, traffic stops, dogs at large, abandoned vehicles, 911 hang–ups and civil standbys. ANIMAL PROBLEM: Wildflower Lane, Newport, report that neighbors’ dog has been constantly barking for 45 minutes now ongoing issue.
HARASSMENT: E. 5th Ave., person reports being harassed and threatened by several people.

MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH: Hwy. 20, Cusick, report of party report of log truck rollover blocking entire highway.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES: Scotia Rd., Newport, report that male subject has been impersonating an officer.
ANIMAL PROBLEM: Beaver Creek Lane, Metaline, report of neighbor’s dogs chasing their vehicles and coming on to their property.
SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE: Allen Rd., report of a white f350 is parked at church with Idaho plates, been there all day.
ANIMAL NOISE: 2nd Ave, Cusick, report that neighbor’s dogs are constantly barking all night for weeks now.
ERRATIC DROVER: Hwy. 2, Newport, Washington State Patrol advising of a hit and run.
SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE: Spring Valley Rd, Newport, report of white SUV following to close to caller on highway she pulled over twice so did the SUV and it won’t go around her.
ANIMAL PROBLEM: Black Rd. N., report that neighbor’s dog won’t stop barking for 15-20 minutes.
TUESDAY, SEPT. 17
TRESPASSING: Sullivan Lake Rd., Ione, report of trespassers on property, several cars keeping coming and going all the time.
ASSAULT: W. 5th St., report that son was assaulted, possible fracture on face.
SUSPICIOUS PERSON: McAvoy Rd., Newport, report that male came onto the porch then down the other side then went to neighbors.
HARASSMENT: E. 5th Ave., report of person being harassed by another tenant.
TRAFFIC OFFENSE: S. Garden Ave., Newport, report of dark Ford ex cab had road rage incident in Idaho and the subject is following him all over.
LITTERING: Ashenfelter Bay Rd., person reports just up from the parking on the lower trail someone has been camping and has bags of garbage they are dumping.
JUVENILE PROBLEM: S. Central Ave., Ione, report that daughter punched mother for taking phone.
ANIMAL PROBLEM: S. 8th Ave., Ione, law enforcement out with a dog.
SEX OFFENSE: W. 8th St., Newport, report of sex offense.
PEDESTRIAN STOP: S. Spokane Ave. & W. 3rd St., report of bicycle stop.
MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH: Hwy. 20, Cusick, person reports he hit a deer and airbags were deployed he is declining medical but hit his head.

ARREST: Hwy. 2, Newport, Hannah J. Rackliff, 20, of Newport was arrested for fourth degree assault domestic violence.
THEFT: S. Newport Ave., Newport, report of motorcycle taken during the night.
THEFT: Qlispe River Way, Cusick, report that phone was taken from the casino.
ANIMAL PROBLEM: Moonbeam Court, Elk, person reports issues with neighbor’s dogs coming on complainant’s property and barking and antagonizing caller’s dogs.
MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH: Hwy. 211, Newport, vehicle deer collision, no injuries, partially blocking.

FRAUD: Rumsey Rd., Newport, report that ex-employee wrote fraudulent checks.
ARREST: Rusho Lane, Newport, Jamie Bryant Lee Sarazin, 37, of Newport was arrested on a Department of Corrections detainer.
TRESPASSING: Alberta Rd., Cusick, report of subjects trespassing on callers’ property, can see through cameras.
HARASSMENT: Valley View Drive, Newport, person reports being harassed by subject.
THREATENING: S. Garden Ave., Newport, reported threat to caller in court.
TRESPASSING: Alberta Rd, Cusick, caller reports seeing see subject on property with camera.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES: N Grandview Ave, Metaline Falls, person believes subjects are doing something illegal at old hospital building.
ANIMAL PROBLEM: S. Scott Ave., Newport, person states her daughter called her to let her know the neighbor’s dogs are in their yard attacking their chickens.
ARREST: Spring Valley Rd., Newport, April S. Gillock, 37, of Newport was arrested for harassment, threats to kill.
POSSIBLE DUI: Main St., Usk, person believes female is driving intoxicated with 3-year-old in car.

ARREST: S. Garden Ave., Newport, Brittany Ann Ogden, 41, was arrested on a local warrant.
TRAFFIC OFFENSE: Diamond Drive, Newport, report of white van running code towards Newport, red and blue lights.
TRESPASSING: W. Railroad Ave., Newport
MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH: Hwy. 211, Newport, report of head on collision possibly 10 people involved, blocking.

ARREST: Flowery Trail, Usk, Benjamin B. Stark, 22, of Cheney was arrested on a warrant.
HARASSMENT: S. Scott Ave., Newport, report of issues with elderly neighbor, report he has been harassing caller, has tried to fight him and now going to other neighbors starting a petition to have him removed.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE VERBAL: W. Kelly Drive, Newport, report that caller and her 18-yearold son got into a verbal argument she wants him removed from home.

NON INJURY ACCIDDENT: Hwy. 2, Laclede
MISSING PERSON; HARRIET ST., PRIEST RIVER CHILD NEGLECT: Campbell Point Rd., Laclede, deputies investigated a case of potential child abuse.
WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 18
BATTERY: Hwy. 57, Priest River FRAUD: Grasshopper Loop, Oldtown
DEATH INVESTIGATION: Dufort Rd., Priest River, deputies responded to the Sagle area for a death investigation.
FATAL ACCIDENT: Hwy. 57 & Gleason-Mcabee Falls Rd., Priest River, deputies responded to a report of a fatal accident in the Priest River area.
ARREST: Blanchard Cutoff & Hwy. 41, Blanchard, Jacob Frueh, 44, of Newport was arrested in Blanchard for his outstanding Bonner County warrant as well as a warrant from Pend Oreille County.
THURSDAY, SEPT. 19
CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: Hwy. 2 & Old Diamond Mill Rd., Oldtown, marijuana and paraphernalia were seized for destruction during a traffic stop in Oldtown.
FRIDAY, SEPT. 20
ARREST: Hwy. 2, Priest River, AL Ivey, 45, was arrested in the Priest River area for unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of an explosive device, defacing the serial number of a firearm, possession of burglary tools, and driving without privileges.
FRAUD: Meadowland Drive, Blanchard
ARREST: Hwy. 57, Coolin, Thomas McCormick, 44, of Coolin, was arrested for two misdemeanor warrants and Driving Without Privileges.
RECKLESS DRIVING: Dufort Rd.
& Braden Court, Priest River
ARREST: Old Priest River Rd.
& Bates Lane, Oldtown, Damien Hill, 41, of Montana was arrested in Oldtown for driving under the influence.
SATURDAY, SEPT. 21
ARREST: Hwy.2, Oldtown, Zaxch Hasbrouck, 35, of Newport was arrested in the for one Kootenai County warrant, as well as two Spokane County warrants.
