Playhouse seeks retro refrigerator
NEWPORT - The Pend Oreille Playhouse seeks an old-fashioned looking refrigerator for their concessions.
For most stage productions, concessions sell non-alcoholic and custom, alcoholic concoctions as part of the ongoing fundraising efforts by the Playhouse. The net profits go straight back into youth programs such as live theatre experiences, summer camp, and youth workshops.
“It doesn’t have to be anything fancy,” Concessions Manager Kris Fry says about the refrigerator. “We just thought it would be fun to have the appliance be part of the Playhouse decor. That’s not something you see every day.”
The nook where the refrigerator will sit is 32” wide and 25” deep. There is no height restriction. There is a small budget available to help purchase it, but a donation would be happily accepted, as well.
For more information, contact 509-550-2155 to have a volunteer come take a look. Since this is an all-volunteer non-profit, callers may need to leave a message if no one answers the phone. Also email mail@pendoreilleplayers. com.
The Pend Oreille Playhouse is located at 236 S Union Avenue in Newport, Washington.
