Bridges Home performs Nov. 2

NEWPORT - Roots, Celtic and bluegrass band Bridges Home will perform at Create Art Center on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 6 p.m. with special guest Joanne Heinz on mountain dulcimer.

Tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door. Students get in for free. Tickets can be purchased at Create, located at 900 4th St. in Newport, or at www. createarts.org.

‘Polter-Heist’ performances Friday, Saturday

METALINE FALLS – Out of the Box Entertainment announced the upcoming tour of their comedic murder mystery production, Polter-Heist.

The Coeur d’Alene Shrine Club in Hayden, Idaho, will show the performance Friday, Oct. 25. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for this dinner and show performance.

Finally, the Create Arts Center in Newport will have the show Saturday, Oct. 26 at 6 p.m. This is a show only performance, but there will be refreshments available.

Weekly yoga class at Priest River Library

PRIEST RIVER – Lonnie Walkup teaches her Body Basic Yoga class at the Priest River Library each Tuesday at 8 a.m. Participants should bring their own yoga mat and wear comfortable clothing. This class is about maintaining flexibility and function (no advanced positions or headstands). The class is open to ages 14 years and older and all abilities are welcome. There is a monthly fee of$30.
