EAGLE – Senior Brayden Lamanna has earned his place in Priest River Lamanna High School cross-country history after winning fourth place in the 3A State Meet at Eagle Island State Park Saturday, Nov. 2. Lamanna had the fastest time among all area runners, finishing fourth out of 98 competitors. Lamanna finished the 5,000-meter course in a formidable 16 minutes and 25 seconds. On the season, he finished among the top five at six different invitationals and now holds the school record by a large margin at 15 minutes and 42 seconds, which was set Oct. 12 at Lewis-Clark State College’s Inland Empire Invitational.
Lamanna placed 14th at the state meet last year.
