COLVILLE - Judy Lockner of Colville and Valerie Lamont of Arden have once again brought their artistic talents to life through the creation of a beautiful new quilt for their ongoing Veterans Quilt project. Now in its seventh year, this heartfelt initiative reflects the duo’s commitment to honoring local veterans, combining artistry with community spirit.

The latest quilt crafted by Lamont and Lockner is currently on display at the Tri County Economic Development District (TEDD) office, located at 986 S Main, Suite A, in Colville. This piece serves as both a tribute to veterans and a testament to the quilters’ dedication to their craft and the region’s veteran community.

The Veterans Quilt project invites veterans from the tri-county area to enter a free drawing for a chance to win this one-of-a-kind creation. Community members are also encouraged to nominate veterans they know by submitting entries on their behalf. Entries can be submitted online at https:// bit.ly/VeteransQuilt or in person at the TEDD office during regular business hours, Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

The winner of this special quilt will be selected through a drawing held during the TEDD Board of Directors meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 1. p.m.
