Volunteers needed for fair board

SANDPOINT – The Board of County Commissioners is calling for letters of interest from persons in Bonner County interested in serving on the Bonner County Fair Board. Knowledge of the fairgrounds and fair events would be beneficial.

There are two open positions. Letters should be received by Monday, Dec.

Share Shanty for kids in need

PRIEST RIVER – The non-profit Priest River Youth Connections has developed the Share Shanty, a small shed stocked with food items and toiletries for youth in need. The stocked items will be dependent on what is donated or purchased with community donations.

The Shanty is located at the Priest River Lamanna High School parking lot against the fence near the church. Youth are encouraged to take what they need and leave what they don’t.
