Kerry Allemand, left, marks 30 years of service at Sherman-Campbell Funeral Home in Newport. "Kerry’s service and presence here have been invaluable," said Keith Campbell, pictured right, Director of Sherman-Campbell Funeral Home. "His dedication to his work and the community has made a lasting impact on everyone who has had the pleasure of knowing him. He’s not just a colleague, but a friend and a mentor to us all." Allemand began his career with the Sherman-Knapp Funeral Home. “In addition to his exceptional work as a mortician, Kerry is also a passionate gardener, skilled hunter, and lawn care expert. Never one to sit still, Kerry is always ready to help those around him, whether it’s tending to the land or supporting friends and neighbors in need,” according to a press release from the funeral home.
