Cheer team fundraiser Dec. 15

PRIEST RIVER – A spaghetti feed fundraiser for the Priest River All-Star Cheer Team is Sunday, Dec. 15, 12 – 4 p.m. at Popeye’s Lounge. A spaghetti dinner is a $5 minimum donation. There will also be baked goods, various prizes and a 50/50 drawing. Raffle tickets are a $1 each. All funds raised will go toward competition fees, uniforms, hotels and travel.

Popeye’s is located at 80 Main St. in Priest River.

County offices closed for winter holiday

NEWPORT - Pend Oreille County Courthouse will be closed for the winter holiday Monday – Wednesday, Dec. 23, 24, and 25.

Public invited to watershed meeting

PRIEST RIVER - This is a reminder that there will be an Info Session on the East River on Thursday, Dec. 5, 3:30 p.m. at the West Bonner Library located at 118 Main St. in Priest River. There will be speakers from Idaho Department of Fish and Game, Idaho Department of Lands and the Kalispel Tribe presenting on specifics of the East River watershed, a major tributary to the Lower Priest River.

Trustee board, finance committee meets Monday

PRIEST RIVER – The West Bonner School District Finance Committee meets Monday, Dec. 9, 4 p.m. at the Priest River Lamanna Junior and Senior High library. Following this, there will be a WBSD Board of Trustees work session 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. and then a special Board of Trustees meeting from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m.

The Priest River Junior/Senior High School is located at 596 Hwy. 57.
