Santa’s ready for the holidays

The Greater Newport Area Chamber of Commerce kicked off the holiday season with a tree lighting and visits with Santa this past weekend, Saturday, Nov. 30. Sponsors and partners included the Pend Oreille Historical Society, Kalispel Tribe of Indians, Shantel W., Kalispel Tribe Public Safety, Newport Library, The Station, Country Lane, 91.5 KUBS FM, Condron Homes and Griffin’s Furniture.
