Priest River boys’ varsity basketball had a tight home game against the Sandpoint Bulldogs Monday, Jan. 6. The two teams were neck and neck until Sandpoint pulled ahead, eventually defeating Priest River 59-48. The Spartans hosted Timberlake Tuesday, Jan. 7 after the newspaper’s deadline. Priest River is scheduled to host Clark Fork Thursday, Jan. 9 at 6 p.m.
