EDITOR’S NOTE: The police reports, taken from dispatch logs provided to The Miner by law enforcement agencies, are not intended to be an exact report, but rather a comprehensive list of police calls in Pend Oreille and West Bonner counties. Dispatch also fields calls for the Kalispel Tribe’s property in Airway Heights.
Certain police calls are generally omitted because of space constraints. These include, but aren’t limited to ambulance calls for illness, unfounded alarms, traffic stops, dogs at large, abandoned vehicles, 911 hang–ups and civil standbys.

ARREST: N. Hayford Rd., Arlen Jess Denison, 27, of Fruitland, was arrested for a DOC warrant and multiple Kalispel Tribal warrants.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES: N. Washington Ave., Newport, report of a subject who may have been doing a drug deal is back in the parking lot now with a woman.
DISABLED VEHICLE: Hwy. 2, Newport, report of a vehicle broken down on road southbound lane, roadside assist is being sent.
MISSING PERSON: Tiger Meadows, Cusick, report of a missing person last seen Wednesday approx. 7 a.m.
Subject was doing a grouse survey in area, was supposed to be back at 10 a.m.
