Pend Oreille County Superior Court Judge Lisa Malpass had her first day as presiding judge in Pend Oreille County Thursday, Jan. 16. Judge Malpass is a Superior Court judge for Ferry, Sevens and Pend Oreille Counties. She heard both criminal and civil cases Thursday after being in Ferry County the day before. Malpass makes her home in Elk. She was elected in November for the seat previously held by Pat Monasmith, who retired.
