Children’s theatre auditions at Cutter Monday

METALINE FALLS – Auditions will be held Monday, Jan. 27, from 3:45-5:45 p.m. at the Cutter Theatre in Metaline Falls for the Missoula Children’s Theatre production of the Pied Piper. Students, grades K-12, are encouraged to audition. No advance preparation is necessary. Assistant directors will also be cast to assist with the technical aspects of the production.

Among the roles to be cast are the Pied Piper, Sara, the mayor’s kids, the mayor’s council, the Hamelin Administrative Team (HAT), barbers, cooks, towns kids and the troublesome rats.

All those auditioning should arrive at 3:45 p.m. and plan to stay for the full two hours. Some of the cast members will also be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the audition. Two performances will be held at The Cutter Theatre Friday, Jan. 31 at 6 p.m., and on Saturday, Feb. 1 at 2 p.m.
