EDITOR’S NOTE: The police reports, taken from dispatch logs provided to The Miner by law enforcement agencies, are not intended to be an exact report, but rather a comprehensive list of police calls in Pend Oreille and West Bonner counties. Dispatch also fields calls for the Kalispel Tribe’s property in Airway Heights.
Certain police calls are generally omitted because of space constraints. MALICIOUS MISCHIEF: Hwy. 31, report that someone spray-painted graffiti on outside of building sometime over the weekend.
VEHICLE PROWL: Hwy. 2, report of pole saw taken from work truck Monday, person may have video.
ANIMAL PROBLEM: S. Warren Ave., Newport, report of subject in emergency room with bite from his own dog.
ARREST: Travis Robert Michael Labash, 20, of Cusick was arrested for domestic violence.

E., Newport, report of subject driving up to another property on an easement road.
ANIMAL PROBLEM: Allen Rd., Elk, report that dogs keep running from property and chasing cars, making them swerve.

ANIMAL PROBLEM: Camden Rd., Newport, verbal warning issued to owner of small, tan-colored dog that keeps running loose and following person down the road, running in and out of the road.

ARREST: Shyanne M. Ziarnick, 24, of Newport was arrested on a Washington State Department of Corrections warrant.

ARREST: Cypress Court, Priest River, Patrick Nelson, 36, of Colorado was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
