EDITOR’S NOTE: The police reports, taken from dispatch logs provided to The Miner by law enforcement agencies, are not intended to be an exact report, but rather a comprehensive list of police calls in Pend Oreille and West Bonner counties. Dispatch also fields calls for the Kalispel Tribe’s property in Airway Heights.
Certain police calls are generally omitted because of space constraints. These include, but aren’t limited to ambulance calls for illness, unfounded alarms, traffic stops, dogs at large, abandoned vehicles, 911 hang–ups and civil standbys. PEND OREILLE COUNTY MONDAY, JAN. 27 ARREST: N. Newport Hwy., Elk, Natalie Jean Lemery, 32, of Spokane was arrested on a local warrant.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES: Hwy. 31, Metaline Falls, report that person has an email blackmailing her and wants to speak to a deputy.

THEFT: 1st Ave., Cusick, report of cold theft of gas from company vehicle, caught on camera around 12:30 a.m. Saturday.
HARASSMENT: Deer Valley Rd., Newport, report that subject saw person, stopped and screamed at him about being there.
