Ione library patron Mallory, age 2.5, is the newest finisher of the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program in Pend Oreille County. She is the 12th finisher in the county and the fourth finisher from Ione. If you would like to register your child for the program, stop by any library to pick up your welcome kit. Prizes for child and adult readers are given for every 100 books completed.
