ST. MARIES – Priest River senior Colin McLaimtaig pinned all three opponents at the 3A District 1-2 Championship Saturday, Feb. 21, in St. Maries.
He and fellow senior Caleb Grow won their weight divisions, 144 pounds and 285 pounds respectively.
They lead eight Priest River Spartans headed the state tournament set for Friday and Saturday, Feb.
28 and March 1 in Pocatello.
Winning second at districts were Orion Grimes at 126 and Levi Holbrook at 98 pounds.
Liam Pettit at 120, Gunnar Eversole at 190 and Darien Ratzlaff at 215 placed third.
Bill Rapier at 132 took fourth. The top four qualify for state.
