Training for fires

Josh Masterson, Idaho Deputy State Fire Mashaal, provided training this week to the professional firefighters at West Pend Oreille Fire District in Priest River. Masterson reviewed firefighting tactical procedures for firefighters to understand fire venting techniques. He also demonstrated proper fire attack procedures for water management on structure fires. Fire District Chief Jamie Painton expressed thanks to Masterson and reminded the community of WPOFD’s current recruitment drive where volunteers.
