Kellie Dean, representing Youth Emergency Services, won the Henry E. Bergdorf American Legion Auxiliary, Unit No. 155 raffle Saturday, March 15. She is pictured with Melissa Rose, treasurer, with a check for $500. YES helps homeless and at-risk youths ages 12-24 in the Pend Oreille County area. The organization gets between 65-80 drop-ins who need things such as food, shelter, hygiene products and clothing. They also have a food shed for families with children in the home.
