Community giving through April 18

PRIEST RIVER — Bonner County residents, businesses and nonprofits are coming together for Live Give 7B, a county- wide giving initiative happening now through April 18. This week is dedicated to supporting local nonprofits and businesses, strengthening community connections and fostering a culture of generosity.

Organized by a collective of local nonprofit leaders, Live Give 7B brings together over 65 nonprofit organizations to highlight their missions and encourage community giving. During the campaign, participating nonprofits will be featured on 7bgives.org, where donors can easily contribute to the causes they care about most. Every dollar given during April 14–18 goes directly to these organizations, ensuring a seamless and impactful giving experience.

Live Give 7B isn’t just about nonprofits — it’s also a chance to celebrate and uplift local businesses. From the café to the family-run shop, Bonner County businesses create jobs, support local initiatives and keep the economy moving. Throughout the week, businesses that give back to the community will be recognized in social media spotlights, videos and engagement posts, encouraging residents to shop local and show appreciation.

The week-long campaign will conclude with a Live Give 7B Community Celebration at Timber Town Brewery in Priest River and Matchwood Brewing starting at 4 p.m. Sandpoint Friday, April 18 in Sandpoint. This event will bring together nonprofits, businesses and residents to celebrate the collective impact made throughout the week.

“This campaign is about so much more than just fundraising,” says Envision Center executive director Katie Begalke, part of the Organizing Committee for the campaign. “It’s about recognizing the incredible organizations and businesses that make Bonner County such a special place and coming together to support them in meaningful ways.”
