Made up of seven letters, a simple name you’ve heard, For most of us, it’s a very important word. If you look you can see them as you travel around, All the cities have them as well as small towns. They are in the ocean and in the trees, Yes, they do live here and also overseas. They have been around for thousands of years, They bring happiness and sometimes bring tears. We would not be here without their selfless love, Even Jesus had one after a little help from above. I’m talking about Mothers, everyone living thing has had one, Mother Earth is quite different from other planets and the Sun.
Mothers love their babies and they teach them to speak, They care for and help them until it’s time for them to leave.
Honoring our mothers one day a year seems not enough, Imagine if Dads did all the cooking, life could be pretty rough.
