Nonprofit Fair May 18

PRIEST RIVER – A collection of nonprofit leaders and volunteers want to celebrate their important work and all the good that is happening in Priest River and Newport by inviting people to the West Bonner/Newport Nonprofit Fair Saturday, May 18, from noon to 4 p.m. at The Rex Theater in Priest River.

“Nonprofits do so much of the heavy lifting in our community and we’d love the chance to share our stories, meet more of our community members, and encourage others to get involved as volunteers or as donors,” says Jennae Pegg from the Priest River Chamber. “That’s why we are co-hosting, along with Innovia Foundation, our first Nonprofit Fair on Saturday, May 18.”

At the free open house event, 16 nonprofits will be on hand to share their missions and visions with the community.

“As the region’s community foundation, we know that each nonprofit organization has the power to make a lasting impact,” said Innovia’s North Region Rural Engagement Manager, Dig Chrismer. “Nonprofits enrich our lives and help our communities thrive through education supports, arts and culture programs, quality of life initiatives, health and wellbeing services, and economic opportunities. On May 18, get to know your nonprofit neighbors better, learn how you can get involved, and ultimately help support them in their work.” For more information, please contact the Priest River Chamber of Commerce at 208-448-2721 or email Dig Chrismer at [email protected].
