NEWPORT - Week number three was another awesome week for the Newport High School Clay Target Team, advisor David Bradbury says.

by a 24 for a total of 49 out of 50. And, Colton Seeber shot a pair of 24s for a total of 48 out of 50. Barrett Boone, Dawson Ellingson and Anden Griesemer all shot 45 out of 50. Luke Wright shot 44 out of 50.
Lindsay Collison led all skeet shooters with a 42 out of 50. She was followed by Dillon Haylor who shot a 41 out of 50. Landon Hall shot a 36, and Dawson Ellingson shot a 34 out of 50.
The NHS Clay Target Team has just two weeks left in their regular competitive season. They are currently leading all teams in the Washington State team standings with their sights set on a third team state championship.
Dillon Haylor is currently the second rated overall individual trap shooter with an average of 23.83 out of 25. Lindsay Collison is rated third overall in the state with an average of 23.50. They are chasing Cole Snider of Wilbur-Creston High School who is currently averaging 24.67 out of 25.
The NHS Clay Target Team will be holding their end-of-season season family and awards day Thursday, May 23rd. Friends and family are welcome to join!
Nine NHS Clay Target Team members are scheduled to compete in the Washington State Clay Target League Tournament on Saturday, June 1st at Evergreen Sportsmen’s Club in Olympia, Washington.
