METALINE FALLS - The community is invited to attend the ribbon cutting and grand re-opening of the Metalines Community Library, located inside the Cutter Theater at 302 Park St., in Metaline Falls, on June 5 at 5 p.m. Light refreshments will follow.
The library has been closed since mid-February for a remodel, the first in over 30 years. The space now includes reservable telehealth and meeting rooms, increased access to power outlets, additional seating, upgraded shelving, and new carpet.
This project was made possible by funding from the Washington State Legislature through the Library Capital Improvement Program, Better Health Together, a gift from the estate of Roger Aydelott, and a match from the Library District’s capital reserve fund.
If you have questions about this or other library programs or projects, you can contact Library Director Mandy Walters at [email protected] or 800-366-3654 x 502.
