Friends and colleagues celebrated Tina Olson’s retirement Friday at the county courthouse. Olson retired after 34 years the county. In October it would have been 35 years. Olson started working in the county’s licensing department and worked in elections and other jobs in the three decades, finishing up in the Auditor’s Office. County Auditor Marianne Nichols said that Olson had a hand in teaching just about everyone in county government at one time or another. She said Olson will be hard to replace. “She got stuff done,” Nichols said.
