Final Friday features ballet

METALINE FALLS - Final Friday at the Cutter Theatre on Friday, June 28 at 6 p.m. features performers Don Gilbert, the Lopes Duet, Antony Scauflaire (accompanied by Donivan Johnson), and the Artscape Ballet Dancers.

A $5 dinner is offered at 5 p.m., with the Final Friday starting at 6 p.m., also for $5. Call the Cutter at 509-446-4108 for more information. The Cutter Theatre is located at 302 Park Street in Metaline Falls.

Exchange student program looks for host families

NEWPORT – The World Heritage International Student Exchange Programs is looking for families to host exchange students.

Many students have already arrived, but others still need a family to call theirs for the coming school year. The World Heritage International Student Exchange Programs hopes that people will consider hosting a student for a semester, a school year or even just to welcome them for a few weeks until they find them a permanent home.
