What can the state do to get more affordable housing?

Answer: The State can work with the Home Builders, City Officials and the communities in need of housing. The problems are intertwined. The word affordable is based on income levels and community needs. Most working individuals’ income is far less than the standard rents and housing prices. Without communication between the 3 organizations, we will see more and more homeless communities.

How should the state fund roads in light of the declining gas tax revenues?

We don’t have a revenue problem we have a spending problem. Yes, people are driving less and spending less on our very expensive fuel prices but compared to other states our fuel in Washington is by far one of the most expensive prices compared to our east of Washington Neighbors. We need as a State to look at our overall budget and find ways to reduce some of the non-essential expenditures.

Priorities first need to be on Fire, Police, emergency services and Education.
