Potato bar benefit for child

CUSICK – There will be a potato bar for Isabella Stensen, 10 months, held Saturday, July 27, at the American Legion Post 217 in Cusick. The fundraiser will take place from 4-7 p.m.

Isabella is the daughter of Racheal and Bruce Stenson III. While her parents live in Spokane, her great-grandmother, Alice Lewis, lives in Newport and her great-great-grandmother, Marjie Miller lives in Cusick.

Isabella has hydrocephalus, a condition that causes an abnormal buildup of cerebrospinal fluid in the brain. She is at Seattle Children’s Hospital where she and her parents are waiting for surgery.

American Legion Post 217 is located at 105 Timba St. in Cusick. The potato bar costs $10 for adults and $5 for children age 5 and younger.
