NEWPORT – A motorcyclist was airlifted to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane Monday, July 15, following a vehicle-motorcycle collision about 5:35 p.m. on Highway 2 at Highway 211, south of Newport.
Washington State Patrol Trooper Caleb Hudson said it appears the motorcyclist was at fault, although the wreck is still being investigated, he said. “They’re flying over the scene with drone today.”
The motorcyclist had multiple injuries but was stable, Hudson said. He did not have the motorcyclist’s identity.
There were no injuries in the other vehicle.
