It is with great sadness that the family of Cynthia Ann Day announces that she peacefully passed away March 27 at Newport Hospital.
Cynthia was born to Guy and Evelyn Baker in Casa Grande, Arizona. The family moved to the Newport area when she was a small child. She attended Newport schools where she graduated. She spent most of her life in the Newport/ Priest River area. She retired from Pend Oreille County.
She loved huckleberry picking, camping, reading, flowers, feeding and watching the local birds, Bible study and visiting with her close friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents Guy and Evelyn Baker, brother James Baker and grandson Eric Lewis.
She is survived by her husband David Day, Priest River, son James Lewis (Cheryl) Salome Arizona, son Robert Lewis (Launa) Newport, grandson Gordon Lewis (Karen) Utah, grandson Douglas Lewis (Jillian) Spirit Lake, granddaughter-in-law Stepanie Lewis, Brigham City, Utah and many other extended family members.
Gone from our life but always in our hearts.
There will be no services at this time, but will be a Celebration of life at another time.
