Velma Mae Nelson of Newport, Washington, born Dec. 2, 1929, passed away on June 17, 2024. A memorial service will be held for her Saturday, July 13 at 11 a.m. at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Priest River, Idaho, with a graveside committal to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Priest River, Idaho, with a luncheon to follow back at the church.
