Carol J. (Hollenback, Proctor) Becker, 85, ofRitzville, Washington, passed away peacefully on Aug. 20, 2024.

She was born in Spokane, Washington, on Nov. 19, 1938, to the late Melvin and Tannis Hollenback. Carol is survived by her husband Lowell Becker and three brothers, Richard 'Buck” (Janette) HollenbackofWashtucna, Washington, Donald (Teresa) Hollenback — of Pasco, Washington, and Douglas Hollenback of Washtucna, o. Washington.

Carol graduated from Kahlotus High School in 1956.

Carol married Lowell Becker in 2006, and they lived together in Ritzville. She loved spending time at their trailer at Fish Trap Lake and spent many summers fishing, watching the hummingbirds, and enjoying the warm sunshine.

There will be no services as Carol would prefer a picnic with friends and family to be held early next year.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Burroughs House in Ritzville or to Providence Hospice.
